Peter Bender is a director and dop who also shoots still photographs as well. He grew up in a more rural part in the west of Germany where he started photography very early before he studied time-based media at Fachhochschule Mainz. He’s driven by the outdoors and the unseen. Depicting the reality in an aesthetically refined way, his style remains very natural even though you will always notice a commercial touch to it.
