Growing up in a modestly sized village in the Rhineland, Caro discovered her love for film at a young age. After studying communication design, she found her entry into the industry by editing films. She then worked as a creative for production companies and developed and realised formats for television, until she directed her first TV commercial in 2017 and found her biggest passion.
With her understanding of design, art, fashion, and beauty, she has created a style that meets the current zeitgeist. Searching for answers, Caro captures humans in front of the camera in an intimate way. As a shaping feminist, she is always questioning entrenched beauty standards and the role of women in advertising and the industry. This makes her work real and vulnerable, sensitive and close rather than wide.
She worked with Vogue Germany, Chanel Beauty, Guerlain, Eucerin, Wempe, Marc Cain, essence cosmetics, Santé Naturkosmetik, and fielmann amongst others.
Caro lives in Düsseldorf with her dog.
